”The arrest and investigation of Lu\u00eds Filipe Vieira under analysis at SIC Not\u00edcias.<\/h2>\n<\/header>\n

The arrest and investigation of Lu\u00eds Filipe Vieira were under analysis at SIC Not\u00edcias with Ana Gomes, journalist Pedro Coelho and criminal lawyer Sofia Matos.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The work carried out by the inquiry commission was pointed out as having been crucial for advancing the investigation of alleged bank debtors.<\/p>\n

This year Lu\u00eds Filipe Vieira was heard by the Inquiry Committee to explain the relationship with Banco Esp\u00edrito Santo.\u00a0He was called as the majority shareholder of Promotelor, the real estate company that had a debt of almost 400 million euros to the bank.<\/p>\n

In this committee, he said that he had never had debts forgiven and\u00a0denied<\/a><\/strong> being one of Novo Banco’s biggest debtors. The tone and the statements even outraged the deputies.”<\/p>\n
